Timelines and Deadlines

OICHE Timelines and Deadlines To Assist with the Planning Process of an Educational Activity

It is very important to begin the planning process early.  Ideally it is best to allow at least 6 months to plan and accredit an activity.  However, sometimes that is not realistic and we need to work with a more restricted timeline.  OICHE requires that we conduct the Intake Meeting no later than 60 days prior to the start of an activity.  See “Activity Accreditation Process” tab for more information.

To begin the accreditation process, it is required that the Activity Representative schedule an Intake Meeting.  Among many things, during that meeting we will schedule the activity to be reviewed at the OICHE Advisory Council Meeting.  The application and supporting docs will be due 2 weeks prior to the Advisory Council Meeting.

To assist with planning, we provide the Advisory Council Meeting schedule below.
