How does it work?

We work with internal ASU clients as well as external clients to accredit many different kinds of medical education activities for a wide range of members of the healthcare community. We accredit Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS), which include grand rounds, case conferences, tumor boards, etc. We also accredit live courses, conferences, workshops, and webinars. Also included are enduring materials which we accredit for up to a two-year time period.

How to apply for activity accreditation?

To begin the accreditation process, contact an OICHE team member at least 3-6 months before the start of the activity to complete the Activity Intake. Once complete, we will assign an Activity ID and electronically send you the application and supporting information including timeline and due dates. We will not accept any applications that have not completed the Activity Intake.

What is the process? Fees?

During the intake process, you will be given all of the information needed to submit the activity for accreditation.

For planning purposes, it is very important to note that the completed application, supporting documents and application fee are due 60 days (at a minimum) prior to the activity start date.
